CINCINNATI – The west through-traffic lane of Walnut Street between Seventh and Eighth will be closed beginning at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, March 22, till 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, so crews may make repairs to the streetcar station stop across from the Aronoff Center.
Crews will replace a portion of concrete and install a new hand rail at the stop. The work will take several days because the concrete needs time to cure after it is poured and finished.
Construction cones and signage will be in place to direct motorists around the site. Metered parking along this stretch of Walnut will not be affected.
To help reduce congestion in the area, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes through this part of the Central Business District.
