CINCINNATI – Rosa Parks Street will be closed today, Tuesday, April 12, between Ted Berry Way at the Roebling traffic circle to Freedom Way to allow a crane to deliver materials to the parking garage site at The Banks. The closure will be in place 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists traveling south on Vine Street/Rosa Parks will be detoured east on Freedom Way to Walnut Street. Motorists heading north on the Roebling Suspension Bridge also will be detoured via Walnut Street. Detour signage also will be posted on site.
A flagger will help direct pedestrians.
This work is part of Phase IIIA infrastructure improvements at The Banks, which include the creation of 690 parking spaces and a one-block extension of Race Street south of Freedom Way. The project is slated to finish by the end of 2016.
