CINCINNATI – Rosa Parks Street will be closed Friday, June 10, between Ted Berry Way at the Roebling Bridge roundabout to Freedom Way for a concrete pour at the parking garage site at The Banks. The closure will be in place 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Crews will be pouring concrete for the slab and beams to support the garage’s elevator shaft.
Motorists traveling south on Vine Street/Rosa Parks will be detoured east on Freedom Way to Walnut Street. Motorists heading north on the Roebling Suspension Bridge also will be detoured via Walnut Street. Detour signage also will be posted on site.
This work is part of Phase IIIA infrastructure improvements at The Banks, which include the creation of 690 parking spaces and a one-block extension of Race Street south of Freedom Way.
The project is slated to finish by the end of 2016.
