CINCINNATI – Martin Luther King Drive between Gilbert Avenue and Reading Road will be closed from 8 p.m. Thursday, March 17 until 5 a.m. Friday, March 18. Traffic will be detoured using Gilbert Avenue to Oak Street to Stanton Avenue to Oak Street to Reading Road.
Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers and all work depends on weather.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and road closure.
The closure is part of the Ohio Department of Transportation's work to create a new, full movement interchange at Interstate 71 and Martin Luther King Drive.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
