CINCINNATI – Crews begin work Monday, July 11, to replace crosswalks at the intersection of Central Avenue and Mehring Way. The project, which runs between the practice field for the Cincinnati Bengals and Paul Brown Stadium, is expected to wrap up by July 27.
Crews will install dyed concrete after removing pavers now in place for the crosswalks across Merhring Way and Central Avenue.
Work will be done in sections at each of the three crosswalks, which will allow through traffic to pass. Single lane closures will be in effect around the site, as needed.
Detour signage will be posted to help direct pedestrians around the site.
Crews will be allowed to work overnight between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
