CINCINNATI – Twelfth Street will be closed from Elm to Race, and Republic to Vine tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 3, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for underground electric work for the Cincinnati Streetcar.
Motorists traveling east on 12th Street will be detoured north on Elm, east on 14th and south on Race. Motorists traveling west on 12th will be detoured south on Vine, west on Central Parkway and north on Elm.
Local access to businesses and residences will be allowed. Detour signs will be posted.

Other streetcar work
Meanwhile, crews will continue a variety of work on Main Street, including prepping and paving south of Sixth to Second, and prep for track installation at the intersection with Second Street. Through traffic will continue to be allowed but motorists should expect intermittent congestion in the stretch between Sixth and Second to accommodate paving crews.
Crews also plan to install overhead wire from 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, till 5:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, along Main Street from Central Parkway to Second, and west on Second to Walnut. Through traffic will be allowed with brief closures as the crew moves through each intersection. Police will assist with traffic.
