CINCINNATI – Fifth Street will be closed between Vine and Walnut on Saturday, Nov. 5, for repairs to a street grate. The closure will be in place from 7:00 a.m. until the welding work is finished.
Motorists on Fifth will be detoured north at Vine Street, east on Seventh, south on Walnut and east again on Fifth.
Also Saturday, Plum Street will be closed between Sixth and Seventh starting at 7:00 a.m. so crews can use a crane to lift a generator in place atop an office building.
Motorists will be detoured east on Seventh, south on Race and west on Sixth.
In addition, Race Street remains closed between Fourth and Fifth until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, for demolition of a 10-story garage. Crews have removed a skywalk over Race Street and are hauling away debris from the site.
Motorists heading south on Race Street will be detoured east on Fifth, south on Walnut, west on Fourth and south again on Race.
